When the dog goes out of the signal range of the transmitter, the receiver will first vibrate for 3-5 seconds and then deliver a static electric shock for 3-5 seconds. If the dog does not return to the safe area after this cycle is repeated twice, the receiver will continue to sound a warning tone until the dog returns.

The specially designed function of the receiver ensures that it will not deliver an electric shock to the dog when the transmitter is turned off, preventing the receiver from over-warning the dog with prolonged shocks. The receiver only starts warning when it is out of range of the transmitter, and only when both the transmitter and receiver are turned on and being used together.
